Fikret Atay

1976'da Batman'da doğdu, 2003'ten bu yana Paris'te yaşıyor. Yapıtlarında semboller, sembollerin kodları, kimlik kavramının coğrafya ve tarih ile ilişkisi üzerinde yoğunlaşan sanatçı, son dönemde kişisel sorumluluk çerçevesinde zaman ve mekânın temsiliyle ilgileniyor. Katıldığı son dönem sergiler arasında FRAC, Ile-de-France Leplateu (Paris, 2006); San Francisco Modern Sanat Müzesi; Grand-Duc Jean Modern Sanat Müzesi (Lüksemburg); Sydney Bienali; UCLA Hammer Müzesi (Los Angeles) sayılabilir.
