A young upper class guy tries to score some weed from the ghettos of istanbul
but the anglers of the quarter catches and cleans him out and makes him to evolve.
The film follows a middle class guy who tries to get some weed from a getto in
Istanbul but instead gets an infection. A strong psychological virus comes from
the money and following immune reaction of the host is highly dramatic...
Director Statement
Originally MITE is the general name of the tick family who lives on and suck the
blood of its host and can transmit a fatal viruse. MITE also refers a smallest
amout of MONEY in the Old Testiment. Some certain cultures, it still refers a
blood sucking piece of a microbe ...
I just tried to focus on the psychology behind it. Actually it's a knock or
criticism for Social Darwinism and its motto 'SURVİVAL OF THE FİTTEST'. The idea
of -Adaptation- and - Disposition of human being for the Personal Benefits- is
what triggered me to make this film...
