Türkiye’nin en büyük kalkınma projelerinden biri olan Güneydoğu Anadolu

çizilmektedir. Temelin atıldığı ilk günden bugüne kadar geçen süreçte, Güneydoğu
Anadolu Projesinin bölgenin sorunlarına ne ölçüde çare olduğu, bu sorunlara ne
ölçüde çözüm bulduğu konusunda, projenin ilerleyişiyle ilgili konuların,
birbirlerine eklemlenerek anlatıldığı tarımsal sulamada gelinen nokta ve bu
noktanın bölgesel kalkınma üzerindeki etkilerinin hikayesidir.
One of the largest development projects of Turkey, The Southeastern Anatolian
Project and the advancements that have been made so far, the intended objectives,
the accomplishments and the failures are narrated and the recent situation of
the project is underlined. This is the story of the The Southeastern Anatolian
Project. Has it been successful on solving the problems of the area, finding
some resolutions for these problems or making some progress? These and other
topics concerning the progress of the project are joined together and the
effects of agricultural watering systems on the regional development are
explained.
